One of the best way to give your pooch some exercise is a short mountain bike riding. Here are some tips when you are mountain bike riding with your pooch.

Make sure that trail allowing for your dogs
Start out, ride 3 or 4 miles to Acclimate to your dog to running distance gradually. Run up slowly to run longer distances. Start short, then progress until you're riding 8 or 9 miles at a time.Slow your pace while riding with your dog, especially on the downhills.
Give your pooch water to drink from your hand or straight from the water bottle, and make sure to bring some extra water.
Shout "yeow" to warn your dog on the side of the trail and out of harm's way. Use a whistle or shout to use when your dog gets too close to your front tire

Stop destructive dog chewing: Destructive chewing is common in puppies and young dogs. Puppies chew during teething to make their gums feel better. Older dogs chew for a number of reasons, including boredom, attention-seeking, and lack of training, stress and separation anxiety, according to the Humane Society of the United States. Whatever the reason for your dog's destructive chewing, you can solve the problem with a little patience and understanding.
Dog obedience training: Dog obedience schools are an invaluable tool in the training process. There are two basic types. You can send your dog to school to be trained by someone else, or you can take obedience classes in a group led by a dog trainer. Both types have their benefits and drawbacks, and which one you choose may depend on the behavior issues that you are having with your dog, your budget and your goals.
Dog agility training: Dog agility is one of the most popular canine sports. It's a high energy, action-packed event filled with twists, turns and jumps. Dog and handler are graded on speed and accuracy, with the fewest faults and fastest times coming out on top. Training a dog for agility is not a particularly difficult endeavor, although it does take considerable time, effort and patience.
